Meet the Staff

Treehouse takes such pride that our staff joins us, and stays. Teaching was their chosen profession. They acquired all the credentials needed. They have made Treehouse their home.

Such a comfort to your children that each day, the same faces greet them, guide them, and nurture them. It takes a village and our village feels like a second home.

Amy Jewett, Director and Lead Teacher

Associate in Arts Degree
Golden Valley Lutheran College
Opened Treehouse Childcare in 1998

I moved to Hanover in 1992. My husband and I had two boys so I began an in-home childcare. I found my love ~ kids! In 1998 we opened our first little center in the heart of Hanover. In 2006, Pat and I built our own Child Care Learning Center and have worked side by side through the years.

We have had the privilege of caring for over 900 children, from our community, over the past 27 years. Pat retired last year from teaching. I am staying on longer, to help guide the next generation of teachers taking over Treehouse. My son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Trina, are stepping in to oversee the program going forward. With the collaboration of Erin; our Lead Academic Teacher of 14 years, and Maddie; our Music/Yoga Director for the last 3 years, Treehouse will continue to flourish.

Casey Jewett, Assistant Director and Lead Teacher

Bachelor’s of Science Degree, Licensed Athletic Trainer
Winona State University
11 years in the field, 8 with Treehouse

I grew up in Hanover and have been a part of the Treehouse family since opening. I went from being a Treehouse kid, to working at Treehouse. I started when I was 16 until I was 22.

After college I worked in Orthopedics as an Athletic trainer for ten years. During this time I took over a teaching position at a school. This ignited my love for teaching and working with children even more. Working with kids has always been my passion. I was so happy to make the decision in 2024 to return to Treehouse and continue my love for teaching.

I am so proud to be a second generation Director as my family and I make the transition over the next couple years.

Hi, I’m Ms. Trina. I am a lead teacher and part of the Communications & Admin team here at Treehouse. I have been working in childcare for over 10 years but I grew up knowing I wanted to be a teacher.

I began working at Treehouse the beginning of 2021 and knew instantly that this center was unlike any other.

The family-feel nature of Treehouse has increased my passion for teaching. I love being apart of children’s educational journeys and creating a safe environment for each child to thrive.

Nurturing personal growth for creativity, confidence, social & emotional skills and new discoveries every single day. It is an extremely rewarding job and I’m so glad to be a part of the Treehouse family.
